The Cabinet of rectangular form with a break front palisander body enlivened with re tortoiseshell and separated into three sections, the central section with the double pilasters each ornamented with pendant gilt grass grotesques framing a putto grotesques raised on a coffer, above a double Doric columns framing a niche enclosing a gilt brass figure of Minerva with personifications of Victory and Fame in the spandrels extending to further grotesques, opening to an interior palisander arrangement of ten drawers each with a loop handle suspended from a heavily pierced gilt brass mount, each of the flanking sections  of the cabinet body with mask head and rinceaux mounts framing four moulded drawers each centred on a pierced and centrally pulvinated gilt brass figural escutcheon, the sides of the cabinet each with a ring handle, raised to a palisander cornice beneath a gallery of pierced grotesque gilt brass panels between red tortoiseshell posts applied with mask head gilt brass mount, surmounted by a palisander top rail with spire gilt brass finials to the outer corners and a pair of bicapitate eagles each raised on a sphere and supporting a crown to the centre, the cabinet body above a shaped palosander skirt and six ball and claw feet, the cabinet raised on an ebonised timber stand of conforming shape with a torus-moulded edge above a deep apron, raised in six spiral turned legs united be a shaped stretcher above bun feet.
