Each dressed in oriental costume, holding a leaf-form torch with a flame form shade in both arms raised, and standing on an integral drum base, set on a moulded column to spreading foot, the whole in black patina with gilt highlights.
A plaque on the integral base of each inscribed:

The two figures were cast after a model by the sculptor Auguste Didier and were included in the Denonvelliers foundry catalogue of 1894, where they are described as representing belly-dancers (Almee), plate 271.
Height 306 cm
Each dressed in oriental costume, holding a leaf-form torch with a flame form shade in both arms raised, and standing on an integral drum base, set on a moulded column to spreading foot, the whole in black patina with gilt highlights.
