A Superbly Carved Late 17th -Early 18th century South Italian Polychrome and Parcel Gilt Nativity Figure of a Shepherd, the youthful figure with long locks of hair, wearing a belted gold bordered cloak with overfall and cuffed boots, standing with right in front of left, holding a staff in his raised left hand and his right hand lowered by his side, on an integral canted base and modern sympathetic plinth.
