The birdcage comprising two levels, the upper floor with a trefoil gallery surround mounted by finials and the date ‘1891’, the pitched roof surmounted by a pair of feigned brickwork chimneys, the brickwork continuing down the balconied façade to the lower floor with a central door and steps flanked by extensions to either side, each with a hinged lid, turned columns at each front corner, the whole surrounded by rustic trefoil fence of conforming motif.
