Adter the 2nd Century CE Roman marble Resting Satyr (Satyr anapauomenos) now housed in the Capitoline Museum, echoing the now lost 4th Century BCE original by Praxiteles, the figure in contrapposto with a pardalide slung over his shoulder, leaning on a tree trunk, raised on a circular base.
