Each cornet shaped vase with two central chrysanthemum designs between diagonal bands composed of hexagons bearing floral and traditional seigaiha motifs, the collar with two central lotus cartouches bearing birds and flowers, all encircled by brocade bands and on a solid background enlivened with chrysanthemums and scrolls, a conforming band to the foot with further adornments, rising to a floral and folate frieze beneath the flared rim, the whole in the Imari palette.
