The moulded plank top over seven drawers, each of the top three drawers with panelled moulding and keyhole over a turned knob, the middle row of three plain drawers each with centred turned knob, the lower long drawer with sectioned panelled moulding and two centred turned knobs,  the reverse of the chest revealing a further four small drawers, with conforming panels, keyholes and turned handles, over a two doored cupboard opening to three shelves. Late 17th - 18th Century.

 Notes: Stamped ‘GGEDDES’ to the right side of the plank top by Graham Geddes, when used as his personal desk. A further two ‘secret’ drawers are concealed in the recess of the two end drawers on the reverse.
