The ivy wreathed and bearded figure in languid contrapposto, leaning against a tree stump entwined in creeping vines of ivy, gently clasping a chalice in his right hand, his left arm resting against the tree stump, his left hip dipped inward and left foot raised atop an oenochoe, his right foot weight-bearing and placed flat on ground, with the stoneware and ivy features rendered in ormolu. On a shaped bronze and veined marron marble base, stamped ‘FONDERIA NELLI / ROMA’.
