The rectangular plate within a mirrored and brass surround with reeded inner and outer timber frames, to each corner and midpoint an elaborately scrolling and pierced acanthus applications, surmounted by an elaborately pierced brass corona centred by a richly scrolling acanthus medallion issuing flowers in bloom, flanked to either side by large opposing C scrolls and various other adornments of conforming motif.
