The gilt and polychrome against a torquise ground, the domed lid with a baluster finial handle, both with scrolling foliage decoration, a band of multi hexagonal pattern around edge, the concave neck with mythical beasts, the shoulder with interlocking cartouche panels, the ovoid body with two main figurative lobbed panels, one with a combat of three warriors in full panopoly, the other with three storks and other water fowl feeding at a pond amongst bamboo and vegetation, against intricately patterned overlapping ornament with a band of double lotus panels below to a flanged foot.
