The cartouche shaped plate surrounded by a pierced and silvered frame, a dual-form corona issuing from the central arched top rail, rising outwards to form two pierced and gilded scroll crests both with floral and foliate embellishment, sweeping downwards to large floral adornments flanking either shoulder above pendant C and S scrolls of conforming motif, the inner frame with two bands comprising raised moulding to cavetto edge, the outermost of raised egg-and-dart moulding to simple cavetto and the innermost scalloped to further simple cavetto.
