(G14) The full-bodied figure enlivened with vibrant polychrome application, adorned with a three-pointed crown composed of foliate scrolls, the hair tied back into an elaborate high chignon, with tresses looped around her pendulous lobes and flowing in rippling tendrils over her shoulders, the curved hairline framing the round face with idealized features, wearing a multi-tiered necklet bearing a variation of the vajra symbol, with one arm raised, the other arm relaxed, with both hands in vitarka mudra, the copper-green brahmanic cord slung diagonally across her voluptuous torso and tied at the waist to secure the vermilion skirt of the dhoti, which falls gracefully to her ankles, with curved concentric folds rendered in the fabric, raised upon an upturned lotus dais.

Provenance: In a private Singaporean collection prior to March 1981.
